China built 257,000 new 5G base stations in the first half of the year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The total number of the stations had reached 410,000 by the end of June, MIIT data showed.

工業(yè)和信息化部數(shù)據(jù)顯示，我國(guó)上半年新建5G基站25.7萬(wàn)個(gè)，截至6月底累計(jì)達(dá)到41萬(wàn)個(gè)。

Shipments of 5G phones reached 86.23 million units in China, with 5G package users hitting 66 million by the end of June, said Wen Ku, head of information and communication at the ministry.

工信部信息通信發(fā)展司司長(zhǎng)聞庫(kù)表示，今年上半年5G手機(jī)的出貨量達(dá)到8623萬(wàn)部。

The value-added output of information transmission, software and information technology services rose 14.5% year on year, 1.3 percentage points faster than the first quarter.

截至6月底，聯(lián)網(wǎng)5G手機(jī)有6600萬(wàn)部。上半年信息傳輸、軟件和信息技術(shù)服務(wù)業(yè)增加值同比增長(zhǎng)14.5%，比一季度加快1.3個(gè)百分點(diǎn)。

To give full play to the commercialization of 5G, more policies should be implemented to boost the vitality of the market, Wen said, adding that international cooperation in 5G technology, industry and application should be strengthened.

聞庫(kù)表示，要充分發(fā)揮5G商業(yè)化的作用，應(yīng)出臺(tái)更多政策提振市場(chǎng)活力，此外還要繼續(xù)加大5G技術(shù)、產(chǎn)業(yè)、應(yīng)用等方面的國(guó)際合作。
