一個(gè)男孩和一個(gè)女孩的故事

I knew a boy

我認(rèn)識(shí)一個(gè)男孩

He smiled and laughed

他總是笑著

He always hung out with a little tomboy

他總和一個(gè)假小子出去閑逛

They lived across the street

他們住在街對(duì)面

Together they would play until their mothers called them in

A story with an ending not too sweet

They grew up

They became parallel

Long nights spent forever wondering

Where he had gone

Being just across the street

So close

But the walk was too long

The boy no longer thought about the nights spent

男孩不再在夜里回想

The days spent bouncing on the trampoline

And thinking they could fly

This boy no longer cared

He spent time with his new friends

He went to parties

And all the beautiful girls

The girl was still a tomboy

Still wore jeans instead of leggings

And it was all gone

Her joy

A sad girl she had grown to be

She wished for the days of flight

Not for her internal fight

While the boy had been away

Her father had as well, left, gone

Never coming back

She needed her old friend

In her time of need.

A new kind of breed

And she'd pass him in the hallways

And he'd watch her walk home

These long nights and days

Spent being alone

他們都是孤獨(dú)的

To tell the truth

說(shuō)實(shí)話

This isn't the story of a girl and boy

其實(shí)這不是一個(gè)男孩和女孩的故事

It's the story of me and you
