'Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam,

雖然我們可以漫游在歡樂(lè)的宮殿里，

Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home!

但是沒(méi)有地方像家一樣謙卑。

A charm from the skies seems to hallow all there,

天空的魅力似乎把那兒的一切都神圣化了，

Which, seek through the world, is ne'er met, with elsewhere.

滿世界的尋找，然而在其他地方卻從未遇到。

There's no place like home!

An exile from home, splendour dazzles in vain:

從家中流放出來(lái)，所遇到的華麗炫目都是惘然：

Oh, give me my lowly thatched cottage again;

The birds singing gaily that came at m call;
