瑞典設(shè)立新獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)替代諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)

107 Swedish intellectuals, including authors, artistsand journalists, have joined forces to form a newprize-giving body in protest after the SwedishAcademy was plunged into sex scandal.

近日，包括作家、藝術(shù)家和記者在內(nèi)的107名瑞典知識(shí)分子參與到成立一個(gè)全新頒獎(jiǎng)機(jī)構(gòu)的隊(duì)伍中，抗議瑞典文學(xué)院陷入性丑聞。

The new literature award, which carries a prize ofaround $113,000, will be handed out at a Dec 10 ceremony.

此項(xiàng)新文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)將在12月10日的典禮上揭幕，獎(jiǎng)金約為11.3萬美元。

The winner, who may come from anywhere in the world and must have published at least oneliterary work in the last 10 years, will be announced on Oct 14.

參選者不限國籍，須在過去十年里至少出版過一部文學(xué)作品，獲獎(jiǎng)?wù)邔⒂?0月14日揭曉。

 

But some observers are skeptical about whether the New Academy can compare with the Nobel Literature Prize's history of recognizing distinguished author like Ernest Hemingway.

不過一些觀察人士懷疑，新文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)能否與曾甄選出歐內(nèi)斯特·海明威這樣優(yōu)秀作家的諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)媲美。

Others are indifferent to the initiative. "They're free to do as they wish," Swedish Academymember Per Wastberg told AFP.

另一些人則對(duì)這一獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)反應(yīng)冷淡。瑞典文學(xué)院會(huì)員佩爾·韋斯特伯格向法新社透露：“他們可以按照自己的意愿自由行動(dòng)。”
