孔子被許許多多中國(guó)人尊為自古以來(lái)最偉大的老師?；蛟S他
所傳授的最重要的一個(gè)字就是“仁”，也就是英文的benevolence。
根據(jù)孔于的說(shuō)法，仁的意思就是禮貌，忠貞以及無(wú)私。事實(shí)上，
仁是他教義的精髓。因此，每個(gè)老師在教學(xué)時(shí)，應(yīng)效法孔子并強(qiáng)
調(diào)仁的道理。
Lesson 111
Confucius
Confucius is respected by most Chinese
as the greatest teacher of all time. Perhaps
the most important word he taught was "ren,"
which means "benevolence." According to
Confucius, benevolence means courtesy,
loyalty and unselfishness. In fact, benevo-
lence is the essence of his teachings. Every
teacher should, therefore, follow in his foot-
steps and emphasize benevolence when
teaching.
