《單衣順母》，又稱為《蘆衣順母》，這里講述孔子又一個著名弟子閔子騫的孝行故事。這是《二十四孝》中的第四則故事。

《二十四孝·閔損單衣順母》 郭居敬

周閔損，字子騫。早喪母。父娶后母，生二子，衣以棉絮；妒損，衣以蘆花。父令損御車，體寒，失纼。父查知故，欲出后母。損曰：“母在，一子寒；母去，三子單?！蹦嘎劊诟?。
詩曰：
閔氏有賢郎，何曾怨晚娘。
父前留母在，三子免風霜。

Min Sun's Obedience to His Step-mother
Min Sun, alias Ziqian, of the Zhou Dynasty in the Spring-Autumn period, lost his mother when he was young. His father remarried and had two more sons. In winter, his two brothers wore cotton-padded clothes, while Min Sun wore only clothes stuffed with reed catkins, as his step-mother was jealous of him. One day, when his father wanted to go out, Min Sun prepared the cart for his father, but he trembled with cold in doing so, and dropped the rope. His father found out that Min Sun had been maltreated, and wanted to cast off his second wife and send her home. Min Sun pleaded to forgive his step mother: "When mother's here, only I suffer the cold, but if she leaves, the three children of us will all have no mother." When later Min Sun's stepmother heard of this, she felt bitterly remorseful, and treated Min Sun as her own child ever since.
