1.The story goes that 故事是這樣的

The story goes that long ago there lived a king.

流傳著這樣一個故事，講的是很久以前有個國王住在這里。

2.The rumour spreads that 謠傳

The rumour spreads that the peace talk has failed.謠傳說和平談判失敗了。

3.An order comes that 命令傳來

An order came that all the soldiers （should）go to the front.命令傳來士兵全部上前線。

4.An idea occurs to sb.that 某人突然想到

An idea occurred to him that maybe the enemy had fled the city.

他突然想起可能敵人已經(jīng)逃出城了。
