第21單元 畫家的模特兒
While painting a model at one of the art studios, theartist was suddenly very attracted to her. He wantedto kiss her.
畫家在某間畫室替一名模特兒作畫時(shí)，突然被模特兒深深吸引住，很想一親芳澤。
When he could stand it no longer, he threw down hispalette, took her in his arms and kissed her.
最后他受不了了，便扔下調(diào)色板，把她抱在懷里親吻了她。
She pushed him away and said, "How dare you?
她把他推開，說(shuō)道：“你竟敢親我?”
Who do you think you are? Do you kiss all the models that pose for you?"
“你以為你是誰(shuí)?所有擺姿勢(shì)讓你作畫的模特兒你都會(huì)親嗎?”
"I've never tried to kiss a model before," he swore.
“我以前沒(méi)想過(guò)要親模特兒(模型)。”他發(fā)誓說(shuō)。
"Really," she remarked, softening. "How many models have there been?"
“真的嗎?”她的口氣已經(jīng)軟化：“那你畫過(guò)幾個(gè)模特兒?”
"Four," he replied. "An orange, two apples and a vase."
“四個(gè)，”他回答：“一個(gè)橘子、兩個(gè)蘋果和一個(gè)花瓶。”
