忘了拿的枕套
A stingy old lawyer who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness was determined to prove wrong the saying, "You can't take it with you."
一個(gè)吝嗇的老律師被診斷出得了不治之癥。于是他決定要證明“生不帶來，死不帶去”這句老話說錯(cuò)了。
After much thought and consideration, the old ambulance chaser finally figured out how to take at least some of his money with him when he died.
經(jīng)過深思熟慮，這個(gè)慫恿事故受傷者起訴的律師終于想出了讓自己在死的時(shí)候至少能帶走一部分錢的方法。
He instructed his wife to go to the bank and withdraw enough money to fill two pillowcases.He then directed her to take the bags of money to the attic and leave them directly above his bed.
他要妻子去銀行取出能塞滿兩只枕套的現(xiàn)金。然后又讓她把裝滿錢的枕套放在閣樓上正對著他的床的位置上。
His plan: When he passed away, he would reach out and grab the bags on his way to heaven.
他的如意算盤是：他死了的時(shí)候，就能在去往天堂的路上抓起那兩只錢袋。
Several weeks after the funeral, the deceased lawyer's wife, up in the attic cleaning, came uponthe two forgotten pillowcases stuffed with cash.
葬禮過后幾個(gè)星期，律師的妻子在打掃閣樓的時(shí)候發(fā)現(xiàn)了那兩只裝滿了錢的枕套。
"Oh, that darned old fool," she exclaimed, "I knew he should have had me put the money in the basement."
“噢，這個(gè)下地獄的老笨蛋，”她大叫道：“我就知道他本該讓我把錢放在地下室里的。”
